Grimdark Shadow is a dark wash from The Army Painter John Blanche Masterclass range, made to quickly add shadow and definition to your miniatures. The wash flows into recesses and around details, helping shapes stand out without having to paint every shadow individually.

Use Grimdark Shadow over armour, clothing, leather, metal, and other surfaces that need more depth or a darker appearance. Apply it selectively around details or use it across larger areas when you want a grittier, more weathered result. This makes it particularly useful for Blanchitsu painting, where strong shadows and less pristine surfaces are part of the overall look.
