Vallejo Squidmar Color : Gold NMM Set

Vallejo Squidmar Color – Gold NMM Set is a four-colour paint set for painting gold with the Non-Metallic Metal technique, without using metallic paint. The palette provides the colours needed to build the strong contrast between deep shadows, warm golden midtones and bright reflections that creates the illusion of a reflective gold surface.

Blackwood and Rich Brown provide the darker values needed for shadows and reflected contrast, while Goldcoin Yellow builds the characteristic warm gold colour. Final Yellow provides the brightest tone for reflections and sharp highlights. By controlling where these light and dark areas meet, the set can be used to create NMM effects on armour, weapons, jewellery and decorative gold details.
