When should you use Wet Ground Texture Paste?

How to apply

Apply AK Interactive Wet Ground Texture Paste directly from the pot using a spatula, sculpting tool or an old brush. Spread the paste to the desired thickness while shaping the surface before it begins to dry. Wheel ruts, footprints, track marks or other impressions can be pressed into the paste while it is still wet to create even more realistic terrain. Allow approximately 24 hours for the texture to cure completely. If required, the paste can be thinned with water or an acrylic thinner to improve its flow.

Tips for the best results

Natural wet ground often contains subtle variations in colour and texture. Create small ridges, depressions and uneven surfaces before the paste dries to achieve a more convincing finish. Once cured, the terrain can be enhanced with washes, pigments, static grass, puddles or vegetation to create realistic transitions between damp earth and surrounding landscape features.
