When should you use Wet Crackle Effects?

Wet Crackle Effects is ideal for recreating freshly cracked ground in damp environments where the soil has begun to dry while still retaining moisture. Apply it to miniature bases, swamp terrain, riverbanks, muddy battlefields or the lower sections of military vehicles to create convincing wet earth effects. The darker finish makes it particularly suitable for projects that require a recently soaked or waterlogged appearance rather than dry, sun-baked ground.

How to apply

Apply AK Interactive Wet Crackle Effects over a fully cured acrylic basecoat using a thin, even layer. As the product dries, realistic cracks will naturally develop across the surface. The size of the cracks can be influenced by adjusting the thickness of the application, while a hairdryer may be used to accelerate the drying process if required.
