The AK Interactive Panel Liner – Raw Umber Greenish is an enamel wash for defining panel lines, recessed details and surface features on military models. Its greenish umber tone works particularly well with olive drab, green and camouflage finishes, where a black wash can create more contrast than you want.

The thin consistency allows the liner to flow around rivets, weld seams and into recessed details through capillary action. The green-brown colour can also help suggest accumulated dirt and grime while adding depth to panels and mechanical details, making it especially useful on tanks, armoured vehicles, trucks and other military subjects.

Choose Raw Umber Greenish when you want the panel lining and weathering to blend naturally with green military colours rather than stand out against them. It can be used on its own for controlled definition or combined with other weathering products when building more developed dirt, dust and wear effects.

How to use

Apply the Panel Liner over a gloss or satin varnished surface. Shake the bottle thoroughly and introduce a small amount around panel lines, rivets, welds and recessed details with a fine brush. Allow capillary action to distribute the liner, then remove or soften excess with a brush or cotton swab lightly dampened with enamel thinner.

Build the effect gradually where you want more visible grime or deeper shadows. For subtler results, keep the application concentrated around the details rather than covering the entire surface.
